After a teaser in the movie Transformers, Chevrolet finally announced the official street date (late 2009) and final version of the new Camaro. YES!!!
Its rear-wheel drive, 6-speed transmission is projected to produce over 400 horsepower while still getting 23mpg. I can't wait to see what the top speed is! Sporting tons of bells and whistles, its brand new tech meshes with classic styling to form a terrific muscle car almost worth weeping over. It won't quite keep up with the six-figure exotics, and big brother Corvette will probably leave it behind (just a little bit, not much...); however, when you consider that this beauty should sell for less than $40,000 with all the bells and whistles, I think we'll know who gets the last laugh.
Because, after all, what good is a fiiiiiine automobile like this if you can't afford to take your date out for a nice dinner in it?
