Ramirez's Trojan Donkey

Another instant classic from Michael Ramirez:

I like what Hot Air adds, too:
As with all Ramirez cartoons, there are a lot of themes running through this. On the surface, Ramirez highlights the deceptive nature of the public plan in ObamaCare, helpfully highlighted by Obama’s own allies over the past couple of years. But Ramirez speaks to more than just the health-care debate; the entire populist agenda of Barack Obama and the Congressional Democrats is a Trojan horse for statism, whether it’s cap-and-trade, FOCA, Card Check, or any of the rest of the Democratic agenda for 2009-10. It’s all about breaching the defenses of liberty and having the government control our lives.
That truly is the bottom line. It's that same old conflict between conservatism and liberalism that comprises one of my permanent links: who should hold the power, the individual, or the State?

It's a question we're in the process of answering at this point in American history.

There's my two cents.
