I forgot to mention in my last post that Senators Roberts and Brownback, both Republicans from Kansas, voted with Senator Bond in favor of the Cornyn amendment (which was defeated), and opposed to the Kennedy amendment (which was passed). Senator McCaskill, the only Democrat between the two states, voted opposite on both amendments.
