This is nothing new to those of us who abstained from drinking the Obama Kool-Aid over the past few months (see here, here, and here). Unfortunately, I can't imagine what might actually come of this (even if it is proven beyond doubt) because the FEC has already stated they will not be auditing Obama. Still, I suppose it might help blow the smoke out of a few misty-eyed Obots who aren't too far gone yet to give critical thinking one last try before giving it up entirely. This should raise a few eyebrows, assuming it's credible. A team of PUMAs has been digging through Obama's campaign contributions via FEC information, and they've found some, er, interesting
money launderingaccounting. Some of the donors are very creative and amusing. A rich person in Kansas listed his occupation as Philan Therapist. A professor emeritus at Northwestern University can't spell the name of his university. Why it's HEY LOOK OVER HERE! A SHINY THING! HOPE! CHANGE!But one big error stands out. The Team looked carefully at "Contributions to Barack Obama by State Through 10/15/2008" at the FEC's website. The FEC summary lists Individual Contributions of $579 million from all 50 states combined, but the individual state totals available came to only $413 million. Where is that missing $166 million dollars?
Very eeeenteresting.

We can hope.
There's my two cents.
