ACORN Update

Wow, ACORN has certainly been a bit more high profile than usual lately. First, it came out that they were helping some undercover reporters protect underage sex trafficking and prostitution. They denied it at first, but when the videos came out proving those allegations, ACORN fired two workers and called it an isolated incident. We didn't really believe them, though, because the organization is rife with corruption and disregard for the law. Looks like we were right: they got busted again just days later for the exact same thing, this time in Washington DC:

These people, too, were fired. And, once again, they're saying this is an isolated incident, toooootally not something that ACORN as an organization endorses.

Oh, no, of course not. How can we possibly question their honesty, sincerity, and flawless track record of upholding the law?

Fortunately, there is some good news: the Census Bureau has dumped ACORN as being a part of the 2010 census. I'm sure Obama will do his best to get them back into the thick of things, but this is certainly a very positive development if it holds.

There's my two cents.
