Jack Cashill at American Thinker just broke the story. Jack has been hypothesizing for the past year that Ayers was the ghost author for Obama's book. According to a new book by Christopher Anderson, Obama was way behind schedule and Michelle suggested he ask Ayers. Just a person in the neighborhood...Here's a video laying out the entire case:
From Cashill's post:Andersen quotes a Hyde Park neighbor, "Everyone knew they were friends and that they worked on various projects together. It was no secret. Why would it be? People liked them both."
Andersen continues, "In the end, Ayers's contribution to Barack's Dreams From My Father would be significant--so much so that the book's language, oddly specific references, literary devices, and themes would bear a jarring similarity to Ayers's own writing."
This might seem like belaboring an old, useless point, but in my opinion it is critical to understand the connection between these two men for a couple of reasons. First, the simply deceit involved throughout Barack Obama's campaign. Simply put: he lied. He lied about his relationship with Ayers, a man who bombed multiple domestic targets, and expressed regret that he couldn't have done more. He lied to you, to me, and to every American citizen who faced the choice of who to vote for last November.
Secondly, this is a close relationship. Ayers was not just a guy in Obama's neighborhood. He was not an irrelevant has-been who was 40 years displaced from Obama's candidacy. Remember, Barack Obama's presidential campaign was launched in Ayers' living room, and now we have proof that Ayers worked closely with Barack Obama to tell his life story. This is a close relationship. Stop and think about that for a moment...President Barack Obama has a close relationship with a committed and proud domestic terrorist. Is this a man truly worthy of the office, and of the leadership of the American people?
There's my two cents.
