Double Standard Alert

What is a hate crime? According to the FBI, it's this:

A hate crime, also known as a bias crime, is a criminal offense committed against a person, property, or society that is motivated, in whole or in part, by the offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national origin.

Now watch this:

Would you call this a hate crime? It sounds like the guy beat her simply because of her faith, right?

Oh, wait, that's right...it's not a hate crime if it's targeted against whites, Christians, or white Christians. Silly me.
