Barack Obama will cement the new co-operative relationship between the US and the United Nations this month when he becomes the first American president to chair its 15-member Security Council.
The topic for the summit-level session of the council on September 24 is nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear disarmament – one of several global challenges that the US now wants to see addressed at a multinational level.
Isn't it just wonderful how Barack Obama and the U.N. have an identical goal of disarming America? And just in time for Iran to nuke up, too. How nice.
But it gets even worse...
Scary Headline #2: UN wants new global currency to replace dollar
In a radical report, the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has said the system of currencies and capital rules which binds the world economy is not working properly, and was largely responsible for the financial and economic crises.
It added that the present system, under which the dollar acts as the world's reserve currency , should be subject to a wholesale reconsideration.
Although a number of countries, including China and Russia, have suggested replacing the dollar as the world's reserve currency, the UNCTAD report is the first time a major multinational institution has posited such a suggestion.
In essence, the report calls for a new Bretton Woods-style system of managed international exchange rates, meaning central banks would be forced to intervene and either support or push down their currencies depending on how the rest of the world economy is behaving.
Okay, first of all...how did that central bank thing work for countries all over the world last fall? Um, it crashed nation after nation, including our own. So why would we want to set up a system that's even bigger and more powerful (i.e. 'central') than before? Insanity. And, from the American perspective, does anyone out there really have any doubt that Barack Obama wouldn't be willing to voluntarily give up the dollar for some kind of international monetary unit? If you do, I have some land on Mars I'd like to sell you.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the peril that America is in at the hands of our own radical Leftist 'leadership'. Let's all say it together now:

Between disarming our military and destroying our economic influence in the world, he is single-handedly re-making the success and prosperity that 230+ years of hard work, risk, and sacrifice have bought into a third world statist nation. I pray this country wakes up to the danger before it is too late.
