And You Thought The Previous Bills Were Gigantic!

The new ObamaKennedyDeathCare bill from the House has them all beat: it's almost 2,000 pages long!

I'm certain each and every page is vital to fixing health care.  Oh, and it won't add a single dime to the deficit, either.  You can trust the Democrats to shoot straight at...I mean...with you.

I won't go into too many details until some real analysis comes out, but here is a link where you can download for yourself it if you want.  On a related note, RedState is reporting:

Multiple people are telling RedState that the Democrats are blocking the public from attending their health care conference on Capitol Hill. The press conference is being held in a public area on the Capitol Grounds that should be accessible to public observers.

Not today.

The Democrats, having tried to avoid the public for the duration of the health care process, are now determined to block the public from getting close to them at the press conference.

Corroboration here.

Must be that wonderful Democrat transparency.  Or, they could just be wanting to avoid questions this soon after the release of the bill.  Probably both.

There's my two cents.

PS - that download link is Michelle Malkin's post about the bill.  I'm already seeing comments about the following controversial aspects of the bill:
- rationing implemented, pg. 26
- Medicare cuts, pg. 976
- businesses are required to continue benefits to retirees, pg. 54

This should get very, very interesting...
