Copenhagen's city council in conjunction with Lord Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard sent postcards out to 160 Copenhagen hotels urging COP15 guests and delegates to 'Be sustainable - don't buy sex'.
"Dear hotel owner, we would like to urge you not to arrange contacts between hotel guests and prostitutes," the approach to hotels says.
What?! How can this be?? What are these politically correct world leaders going to do now? This would really put a damper on the climate change conference, wouldn't it?
Not so fast! The prostitutes have come back with what is likely to be a winning blow, safely putting to bed the certain consternation of these climate change conference delegates who really want to submit to the rules about buying sex:
Copenhagen prostitutes are up in arms, saying that the council has no business meddling in their affairs. They have now offered free sex to anyone who can produce one of the offending postcards and their COP15 identity card
Whew! Problem solved! Who says the free market doesn't work?
Yes, indeedy, the climate change conference is serious business by serious people.
There's my two cents.
