Obama's New New Economic Plan

The only thing new or different about this is that he's actually being honest for a change:

President Barack Obama outlined new multibillion-dollar stimulus and jobs proposals Tuesday, saying the nation must continue to "spend our way out of this recession" until more Americans are back at work.

Without giving a price tag, Obama proposed a package of new spending for highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects, deeper tax breaks for small businesses and tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient.

Spend our way out of debt?!  This is the kind of thing that every American can understand, and by which is alienated.  It's very simple, and normal people completely get it...and it will come back to haunt Obama at the ballot box.

And what's this about jobs and infrastructure projects?  I thought that's what the first stimulus was supposed to do, wasn't it?  If the first one failed, why are they planning a second one that's exactly the same thing as the first failure?

I suppose the honesty here is refreshing, but it just shows how much of an utter failure his initial plans were, and it puts the lie to the notion that his ideas have any hope of succeeding.

There's my two cents.
