So, I guess it's official: our Congress has pushed America in a giant step down the road to pure socialism, putting an unprecedented amount of power into the hands of an unelected, unaccountable man at the Treasury Department, all for a temporary measure that isn't likely to fix much of anything because it doesn't get to the root of the problem.
Another thing Congress is slapping themselves on the back for is the transparency that is supposed to be ushered in with this bill. Michelle Malkin asks:
Are we becoming the United Socialist States of America? Looks that way. All I can say is, remember this vote when November rolls around. If your representatives voted for socialism in America, send 'em home. I've already informed my Republican Senator that I will support his next challenger because of this vote, and you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be remembering this at his next primary. I will greatly enjoy sending him home, and I will not hesitate to remind him that his support of socialism is the reason.
What will you do about this?
There's my two cents.
