The Obamessiah's Aunt Is An Illegal Alien

Well, of course she is. When it comes to liberalism, you just can't make this stuff up! The story, from Gateway Pundit:
Zeituni Onyango lives in a disabled-access flat in a South Boston slum. She has lived in public housing for 5 years. (Times Online)

Obama just responded to the news that his Dear Auntie Onyango is an illegal alien.
The AP reported:

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said Saturday he didn't know his aunt was living in the United States illegally and believes that laws covering the situation should be followed.

The Associated Press found that Obama's aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya. The woman, Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUHN on-YANG-oh), is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama's late father.

A statement given to the AP by Obama's campaign said, "Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed."
UPDATE: Auntie Onyango was silenced by the Obama Campaign until after the election.
This is what Auntie Onyango told the Times Online who broke the story that she was living in a Boston slum:

She declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the November 4 election. “I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”
That's interesting.
Auntie Onyango was told not to speak until after the election.
Who might have told her that?

The Obama campaign declined to comment or acknowledge Obama and Onyango's relationship two days ago.
No wonder.

Ace of Spades Blog concludes: "Sort of sums up his entire candidacy, doesn't it?"
Of course he didn't know about her illegal status, just like he didn't know that Rev. Wright was a racist, Pfleger was a racist, Ayers was a terrorist, and so on. That's his standard excuse. Notice also that this is another instance of The Silencer at work...

Michelle Malkin asks whether or not Barack Obama will return the donations she has sent his campaign. Apparently, there's an effort to make it very hard to deport the Obamessiah's dear Auntie, and I'm sure they'll probably overlook the fact that Obama illegally accepted donations from a non-citizen, too. I mean, they haven't bothered with any of his other illegally accepted donations, so why start now? But don't worry, it'll all be over soon. As Malkin says,

Lucky for Aunti, both presidential candidates support shamnesty in one form or another.

Lucky for Aunti, the deportation abyss has not been repaired.

Lucky for Aunti, the congressional practice of creating “special relief” bills to help individual deportation fugitives escape punishment and get rewarded with citizenship is alive and well.

And lucky for Aunti, anyone who thinks she should face the music and get the boot is considered a “hater” and a “xenophobe” and a RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACIST.

Lucky for Aunti, she can always take up shelter in a sanctuary-offering, rule-of-law defying church.

And guess where a left-wing church has openly broken the law and taken in illegal aliens?

Yeah. That’s right: Chicago.

As of next Wednesday, she'll be good to go no matter who wins.

You know, I hate to bag on any particular person, but this whole thing really angers me. We have clear evidence of any number of laws broken: illegal immigration, avoiding deportation, illegal foreign donations, welfare fraud, election fraud...

What do you bet that not a single one of them will be enforced?

Now, do you think that if you or I was facing charges of any one of these laws, we would get away scott free from prosecution? Not likely. So, here's my frustration: what's the point of having laws if they will be ignored when they become politically inconvenient?

Why doesn't that collective bunch of worthless failures in Washington just go ahead and abolish the Constitution and be done with it already?

Throw 'em all out.
They suck.

There's my two cents.
