We will never forget.
Read the words of our current President shortly after that day:
We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.
It is disgusting to see that the first response of our President, the man who put his hand on a Bible and swore to defend America from all enemies, was empathy with the murderers who committed these atrocities! The Left -- and Barack Obama in particular -- cannot be left in control of the defense of this nation because they identify with this nation's enemies.
But we do not. We will never forget what really happened that day, that it was done by radical Islamic terrorists, and that they did it out of pure hatred for Jews and Americans simply for existing.
We will never forget.
As a reminder, here are the videos of that fateful day...

Here is a new video that I've not seen before recorded by some people in a nearby building:
Common Cents posts several tribute videos, one of which is this:
As I said last year, this may be painful to watch, but it is necessary in order to remember those who died that day, to remember the monsters who committed these acts of terror against civilians and why they did it, and to honor the heroes in one of the darkest hours of our nation's history.
Please take a moment to pray for the surviving families of the victims of 9/11, and remember the evil that we faced that day. By doing so, we honor the victims, their lives, and their sacrifices. And, may we all resolve ourselves anew to defend this nation from our true enemies, no matter where they may be found.
There's my two cents.
