9/11: Seven Years Later

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the events of 9/11. Please take a moment to reflect upon what happened that day, to think about how you felt as you watch the destruction, and to remember those who died, heroes and innocent alike.

Some pictures I posted last year:

ABC coverage of the first plane crash:

ABC coverage of the second plane crash:

ABC coverage of the first tower collapsing:

CNN coverage of the second tower collapsing:

If you want some more in-depth information, I've watched a couple of good movies that document that day. I'd highly recommend Fahren-Hype 911, WTC, Inside the World Trade Center, and United 93.

I believe we need to see these reminders, as painful and unpleasant as they may be, so that we do not forget the horror of the war that was brought to our soil, so that we do not forget who perpetrated that evil, and so that we do not forget the enemy who is still trying to kill us.

We will never forget.
