More ACORN Election Fraud

Our favorite voter fraud perpetrators, ACORN, are busy at work again:

Several municipal clerks across the state are reporting fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications, most of them from a nationwide community activist group working to help low- and moderate-income families.

The majority of the problem applications are coming from the group ACORN, Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, which has a large voter registration program among its many social service programs. ACORN’s Michigan branch, based in Detroit, has enrolled 200,000 voters statewide in recent months, mostly with the use of paid, part-time employees.

“There appears to be a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent applications,” said Kelly Chesney, spokeswoman for the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office. “And it appears to be widespread.”

Michelle Malkin points out:
The McCain campaign had a golden opportunity to bring the left-wing, tax-subsidized con artists to light, but McCain’s already blown it with his effusive praise for Obama’s “outstanding” community organizer record last week at Columbia University.
Too bad...that was definitely a mistake on McCain's part. But, that certainly won't stop the blogosphere from broadcasting ACORN's activities to the public! Remember that Obama got his start in 'community organizing' with ACORN in Chicago. Mark Hemingway at NRO:
You might recall that Obama was a “leadership trainer” for ACORN, which has always been a highly suspect organization — see Stanley Kurtz here.
Okay, but that was ancient history, right? The real question is: what is Obama's current association with ACORN? It appears that Obama and ACORN are still connected to the tune of $800,000 in campaign contributions. I think it might be good for the American people to know that Obama is still tight with a group of voter fraudsters, don't you?

Powerline puts it this way:
The Democrats are sinking in the polls, but, as always, they have an ace in the hole: voter fraud.

Under the current Democratic Congress, the "community organizers" at ACORN are being lavishly funded by federal dollars. Your tax money, going to support voter fraud: not exactly what the Founders had in mind.
ACORN is not just active in Michigan, though. They're also working their magic in Ohio, and other states.

With the felonious history of this group, when will someone call for the obviously needed investigation into the entire organization? You know Obama won't. Why isn't McCain? If you value your right to vote, this should concern you.

There's my two cents.
