Recommendation: If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans

Okay, okay, I know Ann Coulter is one of the most divisive characters in American politics today. And yes, I know that she often irritates as many on the right as on the left. Still, I can't deny that "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans" was an enormously entertaining read.

The entire purpose of this book is to take Coulter's own quotes over the years and compile them in groups of categorized insults. That's it, that's the whole thing.

The opening of the book sets the tone and stage:

“Uttering lines that send liberals into paroxysms of rage, otherwise known as ‘citing facts,’ is the spice of life. When I see the hot spittle flying from their mouths and the veins bulging and pulsing above their eyes, well, that’s when I feel truly alive.”
And Coulter never looks back from there. She is clearly a brilliant individual, with a background in law and a razor-sharp wit that pops out in bursts of incendiary sarcasm in interviews, speeches, articles, and live appearances alike. Each chapter of this book contains a topic (such as Hillary Clinton, the environment, and illegal aliens), and begins with a brief commentary about her views on that topic. Then she lists her favorite quotes (almost all of which are insulting to liberals) on the topic, complete with sourcing.

If you hate Coulter, stay away from this book - it'll infuriate you. If you love her -- or if you just love seeing someone poke liberals -- this book will be a supreme treat to read.
