Treasury Is An Absolute Mess

This is downright ridiculous. The administration keeps saying we're facing the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, but between filling out their NCAA tournament brackets and practicing their bowling, they can't seem to figure out how to staff the Treasury department.

Fortunately, some have had enough and have finally started speaking out:

Hot Air reports that a growing number of Republicans (and a few Democrats) are calling for Geithner's resignation because his credibility is shot. But, it gets worse:

After CNN caught [Senator Chris] Dodd in a lie over the change in the amendment that enabled the bonus payout, Dodd wasted no time ratting out Geithner and the Treasury as the real culprit. After publicly stoking outrage over the bonuses, Democrats suddenly found themselves the target of public ire.

Geithner’s only been around for two months, but he’s done next to nothing so far — not even staffing his team. It might be time to ready the understudy, as the Obama administration might need to toss someone under the bus to mend fences on Capitol Hill after this epic fail. If Feinstein is offering support this tepidly, I’d say Geithner’s days are numbered.

After this initial report, Geithner actually admitted pushing Dodd to change the language of the bill. Geithner, in turn, pushed the responsibility off on his staff. Sadly, it's no joke.

The American people are slowly waking up to the fact that not only is Obama and his gang a bunch of radical Leftist socialists, but that they're also hopelessly incompetent. When that happens en masse, the Dems are going to get a rude awakening at the ballot box, and some grown-ups will be put in place to clean up their mess.

There's my two cents.
