America To Obama: It's Your Deal Now

Ace of Spades reports:

The rest of the poll is mostly bad news -- Obama's approval rate remains steady is the headline -- but good news on one front.

By more than 3-to-1 Americans think it is time for the Obama administration to start taking responsibility (64 percent) instead of continuing to blame the Bush administration for mistakes (21 percent).

Good news, politically at least, because assuming that Obama fails (and the math is pretty emphatic that he must), the public has little appetite for further dog-ate-my-homework excuses.

We knew this point would come eventually, but Obama's radical Leftist agenda seems to have made it happen earlier than is typical. While the rest of the poll is full of bad news, at least there is a perception out there that Obama can't blame everything on Bush forever. At some point, he's going to have to take responsibility for his own actions as President, and it appears that Americans are expecting him to do that.

Are the days of free riding and blaming Bush over? We'll see in time...

There's my two cents.
