I bet the GOP challenger to this guy is salivating over stuff like this!

Speaking of which, something that has gone largely unreported so far (unspeculated might be a better term for it) is the fact that the solidarity of the Democrats on these increasingly unpopular issues like the stimulus are going to put the so-called conservative Dems in a serious bind. As unemployment continues to rise, and the economy continues to sputter, those supposed fiscal conservatives in the Democrat party are going to have to explain to their constituents why they folded on their principles in favor of party loyalty.

That should help the GOP, don't you think? Should be fun to watch.
