Various Drudgery

There are some very interesting headlines on the Drudge Report today:

This is your efficient government, hard at work 'stimulating' the economy.  I think that you will agree with me that the only thing being stimulated are the friends of Washington politicians.

The Hot Air Greenroom offers this in response:

The "stimulus" scam is one of the biggest, most expensive frauds in history — just after man-made global warming, which is, not coincidentally, peddled by the same people.

But hey, let's let 'em run the health care system of the entire nation! Great idea.

Anybody who supports government-run health care is either in on the scheme, mentally challenged beyond belief or "all of the above."

Oh, and don't forget, $18 million in taxpayer money was wasted to re-design the Recovery.Gov website where all the waste is listed. And to think that money could have been used to buy over 14 pounds of ham! For shame!

The good news is that though they've wasted a huge amount of stimulus money already, in a relative sense it's only a small fraction of what the stimulus bill actually stated.  Most of that money can be stopped...if the Democrats are not allowed unfettered access to the American people's tax money.

Dial the phone.  Demand your reps vote NO on all of this spending, and vote ALL incumbents home who voted YES on any of this.  For a reminder of who's done what, go here.

Hint: 97% of the votes cast for all of the gigantic spending bills in 2009 have been cast by the Democrat party.  I'm just sayin'...

There's my two cents.
