Just a quick update on today's primaries. As of right now, Barack Obama ran away with North Carolina as predicted. Indiana hasn't been called yet, but Clinton is leading by a full two points with 95% of the precincts reporting, so it is likely she'll stay ahead.
The delegates aren't going to make that much difference, really, but Clinton can still make the arguments that have been percolating for some time: she's won the big states, she's won the states that will be in play in November, she's more electable (and more centrist) against McCain. Will it work? If she can get the delegates from Michigan and Florida seated, it is very possible. Time will tell.
Of particular interest is that even the MSM outlets are now reporting on Operation Chaos. One report I saw said that Limbaugh can legitimately claim as much as 7% of the vote for Clinton was due to his own efforts. Given the margin of victory, that's a huge number.
More analysis as it comes out later this week!
