Obamessiah's Gitmo Warning

One of the first things Barack the Obamessiah did after becoming President was to close Gitmo.  Of course, he has no clue yet what he'll do with those terrorists who are still being held there.  We would normally send them back to their home countries, but they aren't wanted there (or they would be tortured -- real torture -- and killed once they arrived).  We can't bring them onto U.S. soil without giving them more civilian rights than they deserve since they weren't adhering to the Geneva Convention rules for warfare, and a military battlefield is hardly the place to gather criminal evidence (thus, they would most likely be released from a trial).  And, of course, if these terrorists get released on U.S. soil, what do we think is going to happen?

Common sense would tell us that they'll go back to their terrorist ways and do some more killing, and common sense would be right.  We know this for a fact because at least 61 former Gitmo detainees have already been found on the battlefield again.

The problem facing Obama, then, is how to squirm out from under Gitmo while still escaping blame for potential American deaths at the hands of even more released Gitmo detainees.  Well, guess what?  Tragically, America now has its first Gitmo graduate murder victim:

An American teenager was murdered by Al-Qaeda last month in Yemen.
The attack was led by former Gitmo detainee Abu Sufyan al-Azdi al-Shahri.
9-11 Families for a Safe and Strong America reported, via LGF:
Susan Elbaneh was murdered by al Qaeda and apparently most of the media does not want you to know. Last week, you saw her killers' faces splashed across the headlines yet away from her hometown, the media was busy playing echo-chamber.

Strangely, the New York Times has failed to report the whole story three times.

The proof of that assertion is: Robert F. Worth wrote of Susan Elbaneh's fugitive cousin last March; he mentioned her death, name, and hometown last September while reporting on the bombing of our embassy in Yemen yet made no mention of Jaber Elbaneh; and their names and the latter's connection to the Lackawanna Six were missing from his reports last week about two former Guantanamo detainees reuniting with al Qaeda in Yemen and their being suspected in that same attack upon our embassy.
Shame on the media and the Left for ignoring this!  In fact, I would go so far as to place direct responsibility for this girl's murder on the Democrats in Congress who shrieked about torture and stamped their petty little feet about closing down the place.  If it weren't for their politically-driven Bush-hatred, this murdering terrorist would still be behind bars in Gitmo, and Elbaneh would still be alive.

Hey, Murtha - who's the cold-blooded killer now, huh?

Obama had better get this one right.  This poor girl should serve as a distinct warning to him that purging Gitmo of murderous terrorists on American soil is an extremely bad idea.  If he follows through with his executive order, we could potentially see several hundred of these guys flood into U.S. towns and cities to wreak whatever death and destruction they can.  If that happens, the blame for the bloodshed will rest squarely on his shoulders, but the damage will already be done and American lives will be destroyed.

The Left simply cannot be trusted with the national security of America.  Period.

There's my two cents.
