Stimulus 2? No Thanks.

That's what the American people are saying:

Just 27% of voters nationwide favor passage of a second economic stimulus package. The latest Rasmussen Reports nationwide telephone survey found that 55% are opposed and 19% are not sure.

Despite the public opposition, 74% say it’s likely that Congress will try to pass another stimulus plan before the year is out. That figure includes 45% who say it’s Very Likely that Congress will do so.

And with the Democrat majorities, there's nothing stopping Obama from doing it. It's great that they've only floated the trial balloon, but you can count on the fact that they're going to try it as soon as they feel they can get away with it.

Doesn't matter to him what the American people want...I just wanted to pass this along so that you won't be afraid to stand up for yourself when you hear people say it is needed. Rest assured there is a growing unease in this country with what Obama is doing, and it will boil over if he keeps pushing.
