Is This Creating Jobs, Or Saving Them? I Can't Tell...

Cessna tanks:

Cessna Aircraft announced more production cuts and another 2,300 layoffs Wednesday as business jet cancellations continue to pile up during the down economy.

Cessna issued 60-day layoff notices to 1,600 workers at every level of the company on Wednesday, including 1,300 in Wichita.

Cessna also will issue layoff notices to 700 salaried employees by mid-June, the majority of them in Wichita.

Cessna also announced Wednesday that it is suspending development of its Citation Columbus jet, extending a companywide furlough from two weeks to four and closing its Bend, Ore., plant and moving the work to Independence.

How did this downturn in business come about?  Could it possibly have anything to do with the fact that Obama's socialist policies and ridiculous spending have been dragging down the markets, thus causing everyone to tighten their belts a bit?  Could it possibly have had anything to do with the fact that Obama and the Congress recently started heckling anyone and everyone (except themselves) who flew anywhere on private jets?  Could it possibly have anything to do with the fact that the condemnation and attacks from Obama and the Congress have served to establish the idea that anyone (except themselves) who purchases or uses the things of wealth, like private jets, is somehow a sin?  Could it possibly have anything to do with Obama's and Congress' clear intent to enact punitive policies that will destroy energy and transportation in the name of protecting the myth of climate change?  Hmmm...

One must wonder if all of these deliberate actions that have hurt Cessna's business are a part of Obama's plan to create jobs, or save them.  Can you tell?

There's my two cents.
