More ACORN Lawlessness

Barack Obama got himself elected in large part due to the efforts of 'community organization' group ACORN. Remember, ACORN is the group where Obama grew his political wings, which engaged in illegal activities on his behalf in over a dozen states, and which practices thuggery of the highest order (here, here, here).

Now, it looks like felony charges have been filed in yet another state:

Hillbuzz characterizes ACORN as a terrorist organization, and it's a persuasive case:

ACORN is the greatest threat to our democracy that exists in this country. Nevada is taking it seriously, charging the domestic terrorist organization with 39 felonies.

What constitutes a domestic terrorist organization?

(1) An organization that seeks to undermine the rule of law and United States government. CHECK

(2) An organization, funded in secret, that deliberately engaged in activities to commit voter fraud and unfairly and unethically alter the course of American elections. CHECK

(3) An organization that seeks to, by its activities, create chaos and bedlem to disrupt the natural outcome of elections and other political processes. CHECK

We’re sure you can think of more on your own, but ACORN is as dangerous as any other terrorist organization — and it has its own army that may not use bombs or guns, but certainly uses violence and threats of violence to achieve its aims.

It wouldn't be the first time Obama has supported terrorists.

For those of us who live in Missouri, here's a very interesting wrinkle in regard to ACORN:

The good news for big spending democrats is that Barack Obama proposed to raise taxes by $190 billion on businesses yesterday.
The bad news for big spending democrat Claire "ACORN" McCaskill is that she is one of the tax dodgers who will have to pay.
Missouri GOP reported:

Shifting blame to her husband and reversing her previous statements, Senator Claire McCaskill’s office responded yesterday allegations that she is avoiding U.S. taxes through her ownership of a Bermuda-based company. Through a spokesman, McCaskill’s office claimed in the Kansas City Star: “Like Warren Buffet, Claire's husband has an investment in a reinsurance company in a foreign country that has never been a tax benefit to him nor will there ever be a tax benefit for this investment.”

McCaskill clearly distanced herself from the Bermuda-based business, placing blame squarely on her husband, the wealthy developer of low-income housing Joe Shepard. This separation stands in stark contrast to a 2004 McCaskill statement regarding her family’s finances, in which she claimed, “My husband and I are a team… We are married, and we share everything -- assets, children and a house... Some have implied that the assets of my family don't belong to me. That notion is pretty archaic.” (Post-Dispatch, July 18, 2004)

In addition, McCaskill continues to maintain that her Bermuda-based company does not exist to provide tax benefits. Of course, the only way to discern if she is telling the truth is for her to release her family’s tax returns. She has stubbornly refused to do so over the past five years.

Thanks for representing the citizens of Missouri, Senator.

Of course, as a confirmed tax dodger, this also qualifies McCaskill to serve in Obama's cabinet.

There's my two cents.
