Michelle's Job So Critical That It Won't Be Replaced

Remember back when the Obamessiah was still running for President? His wife, Michelle, worked at a major Chicago hospital. At the time, her position was a bit controversial:
But that's not the only stunning hypocrisy we can find in the Obamessiah. His wife, Michelle, was a highly-paid VP (making over $300,000/year) at a prestigious Chicago hospital until the current run for President. Once again, you would think that she could use her influence and position to help a great number of poor people who needed medical help, right? Once again, you'd be wrong. Instead, it appears that she actually helped funnel the great masses of wounded and sick poor away from the hospital and toward smaller private clinics in an effort to keep the hospital from going bankrupt. Not only did she help create the program to do this, but she and her pals at the hospital (including the Obamessiah's head speech writer, David Axelrod) created a PR campaign to sell the program!

Do as they say, not as they do...
Michelle had gotten a hefty raise right around the same time that Barack was elected to the U.S. Senate. Coincidence, I'm sure. This, of course, raised the specter of some kind of quid pro quo - Barack would funnel earmarks toward the hospital in return for Michelle's over-inflated salary.

Naturally, the Obamas and the hospital assured us that there was no such deal, and that Michelle's position was a critical and top-level position that commanded such a salary.

Except...the Chicago Daily Observer
reports (via Ace of Spades) that Michelle's position has now been eliminated:

She hasn’t shown up for work very regularly over the last year or so, so when Michelle Obama’s $300,000 job was cut at the University of Chicago Hospitals, it may have been hard to notice the difference.

The Tribune announced the layoff without much analysis, but let the cat far enough out of the bag to prompt our Don Rose to question how important Michelle Obama’s job must have been, as it was so easily eliminated.
Move along...there is nothing to see here...HOPE! CHANGE!!

There's my two cents.
