Another Historic Low For Democrat-Controlled Congress

A few weeks ago, Zogby reported the lowest ever Congressional approval ratings in its history. Now, Gallup has done the same. Though slightly higher than Zogby's low of 14%, the newest Gallup poll matches its lowest ratings ever with 18%.

Basically, Americans have lost faith in Congress. Whether due to the constant harrassment of the Bush administration, the incorrect assumption of a mandate where none actually exists, blatant partisan attacks, outright lies/deception, or simply the almost complete lack of accomplishment, Americans have said resoundingly that Congress sucks.

It took the Republicans 12 years to go so low that they finally lost the majority; will the Democrat ride be over in just 2 years? We can only hope!

There's my two cents.
