Perhaps unbelievably, I came across another article about squirrels. For those of you who haven't followed this blog since its beginning, I initially posted a story with the headline 'Squirrel Goes On Rampage'. I thought it was an isolated -- but hilarious -- squirrel story until I saw another one called, 'Iranians Arrest 14 Squirrels For Spying'. I'm still half-convinced this one is a joke, but I can't completely disprove it, so I'll let it speak for itself. When I started this blog, I had absolutely no intention of highlighting squirrels on a regular basis, but apparently they're going to be a regular feature!
So, here we go again...
The latest is this cutesy little story from Finland, where a squirrel with a sweet tooth visits a grocery store twice a day to pilfer a particular candy with chocolate-shelled eggs and a toy inside. According to the manager of the store, it isn't interested in other kinds of candy; "[i]t removes the foil carefully, eats the chocolate and leaves the store with the toy".
Unfortunately, it leaves the wrappers behind.

Thanks Brandon--
squirrels as spies and chocoholics--no wonder I love them so. :)
