More Election Coverage And Analysis

Here are a few more things that you should know as you decide which candidate is right for you.

Obama has connections to Sharia in Kenya
Obama's father was from Kenya, and is currently involved in a bloody conflict.  Barack Obama appears to have come down on the side of the opposition leader Raila Odinga, who is a dedicated Marxist and has reportedly formed an agreement with a hard-line Islamic group to establish Sharia law once he is in power.  Obama's late Muslim father used to be a member of Odinga's tribe, and his brother currently is.  The fact that Obama took time out of his campaigning to talk with Odinga on the phone while refusing to speak with pro-Western Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki is telling, and raises the question of where Obama's priorities would be if he became President.  How would he conduct the war on terror against our Islamic enemies when he appears to already be sympathetic to those same enemies of America?

Romney is the only viable candidate
Ann Coulter writes a spirited column at Townhall.com on why Romney is the only truly viable Republican candidate.  She chastises Rep voters for apparently doing zero research on the candidates before voting in the primaries over the past few days.  She suggests that one reason, in particular, is good enough to cause Reps to vote for Romney: the MSM and the liberal Left is strongly endorsing McCain and Huckabee while mercilessly bashing Romney ("never take your enemies' advice").  They have branded him as a flip-flopper, but the only thing he's flipped on is abortion - as Governor of Massachusetts, Romney ran as pro-abortion, but ended up taking a lot of heat from pro-abortion groups for governing like a pro-lifer.

Where they stand
Pete Du Pont writes at the Wall Street Journal on the presidential candidates' stances on five of the most important election issues: the War on Terror, illegal immigration, international trade, economy, and energy policy.  Interesting perspective, but I've pretty much summed it up on my election blog post already.  Still, it's worth a read.

Clintons still trying to disenfranchise voters
The latest controversy surrounding the Clinton machine has to do with the Culinary Workers Union throwing its support behind Obama.  The Nevada caucuses were long scheduled to happen inside some Las Vegas casinos, where a lot of CWU people happen to work.  Of course, once the Obama endorsement was announced, some Clinton supporters -- uh-huh, just some of their supporters... -- sued to have the caucuses suppressed.  This, of course, is blatant voter disenfranchisement, and many Democrats are outraged by it.  Fortunately, a judge ruled in favor of the caucuses remaining, which basically helps Obama.  This one is juicy because it's happening amongst Democrats - this is normally the stuff the Clintons do to Republicans.

Interesting stuff!

There's my two cents.
