Bribing The Senate

The American Thinker posts a piece on one example of how rich lobbyists bribe politicians for special favors. It begins:
Suppose you're a billionare Republican and you want to build a museum honoring the 1969 Woodstock festival in upstate New York. Now suppose you don't want to spend your own money building it.

What's a rich guy to do? Why,
bribe his Senators to get the taxpayers to foot the bill - naturally!
Basically, this guy donated a ton of cash to Clinton and Schumer campaigns in return for an earmark that paid for most of the cost of the museum.

The thing I find most interesting about this is that this Republican rich guy actually ended up bribing his Democrat Senators. Interesting the bedfellows that are made in dirty politics, isn't it?

Just another example of what happens all the time. Let's demand some accountability.

There's my two cents.
