Moral Security Police

Police in Iran are now cracking down on inappropriate behavior and dress on couples.
Ahmad Roozbehani, the head of the moral security police, was quoted as saying by the agency that his forces would be targeting "inappropriate" behaviour by couples in public, be they married or not.
My first thought is that it is a completely different world over there, where they even have such a thing as a 'moral security police'. Sounds a little Nazi-ish to me; what about you?

But, let's look at the horrible offenses this moral security police is targeting: any kind of intimate cuddling, kissing, boys and girls hanging out together in public (though this is often overlooked), open collars, inappropriate make-up and tight clothing.

Yeah, that sounds pretty lame to me, too. It sounds like a Disney movie compared to the drugs, sex, and profanity that is so common here, even on primetime television. But don't be fooled - there's plenty of violence and destruction in Iran. The difference is that rather than simulated violence on movies and TV, it's actual violence conducted by the government in the name of religious sanctity.

Of course, if the Islamization of America continues, we'll experience that kind of Disney first hand ourselves.

There's my two cents.
