From The Front Lines

The American Thinker runs the first in a two-part report by Jeff Emanuel, a reporter who has been in Iraq for the past 10 weeks. It is an eye-opening story that describes some background on the surge, an explanation of counterinsurgency, some gains and problems that still lie ahead, and much, much more. He talks about the nuts and bolts of the war effort as well as the larger scope, and also discusses the ramifications for our exit strategy.

It is far too long to summarize here, but if you want to hear from someone who is there on the ground in Iraq, please take the time to read the whole article. It's good information.

There's my two cents.
