As I predicted long ago, Sam Brownback is withdrawing from the Republican presidential race. While he had a good hold on the 'values voters', he severely alienated his conservative base with his amnesty endorsements, and his money dried up. This could be an indication of how important illegal immigration is to the conservative right. Should be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
