Israel's mysterious September strike on a Syrian military complex definitely appears to have been a pre-emptive strike on a nuclear facility.
It does not appear to be a question of whether or not the strike hit a nuclear facility at this point, but rather how far along the construction of this facility was. While various experts, analysts, and government-types debate that behind non-public doors, the fact remains that Syria -- one of the biggest global sponsors of terrorism -- was aggressively developing a nuclear program. The fact that not even Iran has condemned Israel's actions is a major indicator that no one in the region wanted a nuclear-armed Syria.
Go Israel! If the U.S. had a few more leaders with spine like the Israelis, we'd be able to get a whole lot more done.
There's my two cents.
