Escalating Turkish Actions

Turkey is moving troops into position for an attack into northern Iraq despite American pleas to refrain.

The House Democrats' resolution to condemn Turkey for the Armenian slaughter almost 100 years ago is apparently having the desired effect - Turkey has gone noticeably cool in its relations with the U.S., threatening that we could 'lose an important friend' in the region.

It is understandable that Turkey would be angry about this. What is completely mind-boggling is that the Democrats would make such a pointless gesture with such dire consequences. As discussed before, the only reason this resolution is being pushed now is to alienate Turkey, who is one of the biggest American allies in the region.

If you have not called your House Rep and Nancy Pelosi, do so now, before these Democrats can succeed in their mission to undermine our military during wartime.

There's my two cents.
