Bush's approval rating has dropped to 24% -- a new low for that poll -- and Congress tied its previous record low of 11%.
"There is a real question among Americans now about how relevant this government is to them," pollster John Zogby said. "They tell us they want action on health care, education, the war and immigration, but they don't believe they are going to get it."It's not hard to see that Americans are just waiting for a presidential candidate to step up and promise to get real things done, then follow through with it. Who's going to do it? No one has made that step yet.
There's my two cents.
