Middle School Girls Offered Birth Control Without Parents' Consent

Well, this one will almost certainly cause quite a stir. A middle school in Maine has started offering birth control pills, condoms, and other contraceptives available to girls -- without parental consent -- through the school's health center.

There is also a mention in the article about a Topeka, KS high school that stopped offering free condoms when the district 'learned of' the program.

Here's your education system at work, people - trying to take over the role of parent for your kids!

There's my two cents.
