Turkish warplanes and helicopter gunships reportedly attacked positions of Kurdish rebels along its rugged border with Iraq on Wednesday, as Turkey's military stepped up its anti-rebel operations.Just letting you know. We'll see how this thing shakes out, but hopefully your calls and e-mails will kill the House resolution to condemn Turkey, and relations will remain at least relatively friendly.

For a great explanation of why relations are strained between the U.S. and Turkey, read Tony Blankley's column 'Why We Are Losing Turkey' at RealPolitics.com.
