Radical Islam Revealed, Part 6: Is Islam Really The Religion Of Peace?

I honestly can't decide what to think about people who actually believe Islam is the 'religion of peace'. Are they so willfully in denial about the reality of Islam that they refuse to think otherwise, or are they just completely, utterly uninformed? I choose to believe the latter, and that's one of the main purposes of this series.

Islam is not only a categorically anti-peace religion, it appears to be one of the basest, most violent religions in the history of the planet. Don't believe me? Buckle your seatbelt, because your eyes are about to be ripped open.

First, let's start with some of the religious texts:

Sura (8:55) - Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve
Sura (48:29) - Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves
Sura (9:30) - And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah... Allah (Himself) fights against them. How perverse are they!
Sura (8:12) - I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them
Sura (9:123) - O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness
Sura (5:33) - The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement

There are dozens of other passages scattered throughout that advocate violence in open-ended fashion. There are hundreds more that speak of hatred and hell toward Christians, Jews, and other non-believers.

It appears to me that the only 'peace' possible with Islam is within the faith, not between Islam and other faiths. The official word of Islam is very clear in advocating violence against non-Muslims. So, has the 'religion of peace' followed that urging?

Yes, and then some.

The following sections contain what I believe are some of the most vicious, barbaric, and utterly inhumane acts ever committed by mankind. There are no pictures, but this is the reality of radical Islam, endorsed by their scripture. If you have a shred of humanity in you, it should disturb you. My intent is not to shock you or sensationalize this, but to illuminate the pure evil contained in radical Islam. Sometimes the truth sucks -- and this is most definitely one of those times -- but it's a truth that every American needs to understand.

I've summed up the acts below; if you want the details of each story, all are referenced at the end of this blog.

These are the acts committed by the 'religion of peace':

- Muslims call for the beheading of Salmon Rushdie and place a $150,000 price on his head; the death warrant is renewed when he is knighted in 2006
- during the recent violence between Hamas and Fatah, several Fatah leaders were dragged into the street by Hamas and executed
- administering 80 lashes for drinking and having sex outside of marriage
- general gratuitous torture (the real kind) and murder, including children
- public executions and 'disappearances'
- public stoning for adultery
- 150,000 arrests were made due to people not wearing proper Muslim clothing
- school children on buses are taken hostage
- schools are bombed
- a 6-year old Afghani boy was tricked by the Taliban into being a suicide bomber (he figured it out before his bomb went off)
- four men and one boy were found in an Al Qaeda stronghold, tortured: they were inside a padlocked room and had been beaten with chains, cables, and hoses; the boy said electrical wires had been connected to his tongue and he'd been shocked
- women are suspended by their hair as their families were forced to watch
- men are forced to watch their wives get raped
- Al Qaeda cuts off people's faces with piano wire to 'teach a lesson' to those watching
- Christians and Jews in Iraq are crucified: some are nailed to the crosses, some are tied; the ropes of those who are tied are set on fire
- a 5-year old boy is doused with gasoline and set on fire
- people are dumped into a shredding machine (some head first, some feet first)
- women are beheaded for unspecified 'immoral activities', which could be anything from not having their heads covered to wearing nail polish
- a 20-year old woman is raped, stomped on, kicked, strangled with a bootlace, stuffed into a suitcase, and buried in a garden...by her father and her uncle! (for leaving her abusive forced marriage and falling in love with someone else)
- Al Qaeda kidnaps boys around 11 years old, then invites the family of the boys over for lunch and serve the boy as the main course -- baked, with an apple stuffed in his mouth -- to persuade the family to their way of thinking

This is your 'religion of peace'.

Attacks by these psychopaths have been carried out in Pakistan, Algeria, Thailand, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Somalia, the Philippines, Afganistan, the Gaza Strip, India, Iraq, Iran, and, of course, the U.S., as well as many more places throughout the world.

So how often does the 'religion of peace' strike? Religion of Peace keeps track of the attacks perpetrated by radical Islam - the statistics are completely astounding. As a sample, here's a list of the attacks carried out by the 'religion of peace' just in the past 30 days:
