The rabid anti-war left has blown their own cover. Now they're blatantly slandering General Petraeus without any reservation -- as he is testifying to Congress -- and calling him "General Betray us", accusing him of "cooking the books" for the White House. Are Democrat leaders innocent? Is this just a crazy wacko-left attack? No. According to Hugh Hewitt, speaking with Iraq War Veteran and executive director of Vets for Freedom, Pete Hegseth, "[h]e takes note of this quote from Friday’s Politico uttered by a courageously anonymous Democratic Senator: "No one wants to call [Petraeus] a liar on national TV. The expectation is the outside groups will do this for us."
It is absolutely shameful how these Democrats in the Senate voted unanimously to approve Petraeus and his surge plan, and are now slandering him to discredit the success he has earned!
