The Brainwashing Is Early And Thorough

I had a great conversation earlier this week about why the spread of Islam is a very bad thing, and why America faces a critical decision on what to do about it. While we disagreed on a great many points, we did agree on the fact that there is an incredibly deep-seated hatred toward all Jews (and from there, the hate spreads easily to Christians since the Christian faith came out of the Jewish faith) embedded in Islam. America is, of course, the primary Christian nation in the world today, thus the hatred toward America, too.

But where does that hatred come from? Why is it there?

As is so often the case, we have to look no further than Islam itself to find the source of that hatred. Watch this video.

If this doesn't send shivers down your spine, nothing will. This is precisely why the spread of Islam is a danger to Americans - Islam is a brainwashing faith, and they start early. Sadly, I fear that too many of us simply don't comprehend or
believe the depth of this hatred, and are thus unwilling or unable to stand up against it. How can we Americans, who know such prosperity and freedom -- in a country where our military willingly fights and dies for the rights of their antagonists to speak against them -- possibly understand the internalization that would prompt a religion to brainwash a 3-year-old into hating Jews simply for being Jewish?

Is Islam our greatest enemy in this day and age? I believe so, but I also believe that an equal share of the problem belongs to our own free nature, which has a hard time willingly grasping what Islam is all about. However, if we don't, we face severe consequences for our willful ignorance. Belloc put it well when he said in "The Pacifist":
Pale Ebenezer thought it wrong to fight
But Roaring Bill (who killed him) thought it right.
How true! To put it into this context: whether we acknowledge the intent and hatred inherent in Islam or not, we'll be equally as dead when radical jihadists kill us.

It is our choice to either remain ignorant of the threat (and be slaughtered like Pale Ebenezer), or to be educated and ready to speak out and stand up against it. There will come a time when a choice will be forced upon you. What will you choose?

There's my two cents.
