Only Bad News Is...Well, News

This is just disgusting. The MSM almost completely ignores the fact that the violence is overwhelmingly down in Iraq, saying that it does not constitute 'news'. But, when a bomb goes off in a crowded marketplace, killing and injuring dozens, the New York Times is all over it. And then, they throw in something like the following:
[T]he market in the shadow of the Mosque of the Caliphs was a scene of carnage, a cruel reminder that the decline in violence in this city is relative and may not last.
Can it get any more obvious that they're hoping and pining (they're probably too educated and intelligent to pray; prayer is only for the ignorant masses) for American defeat? Months of real progress gets almost zero coverage, but a single bomb scores major headlines and a caveat that the months of progress probably won't last?! What a horrible bunch of anti-American losers.

There's my two cents.
