Utah Voters Deny School Vouchers

As a follow up to a previous blog, Utah voters turned down a proposed state-wide voucher program.

It sounds like the pro-voucher crowd didn't get a clear message out to enough people; also, there are many rural areas with no private schools. I'm sure no small part was played by the millions of dollars poured into the opposition by the teachers unions.

An interesting result. Not one I personally like, but apparently the voucher idea is still not mainstream enough to be accepted yet. Maybe next time...

There's my two cents.
