Newspaper Circulation Continues Tanking

BizzyBlog reports on the continued decline of traditional newspapers:

It is understandable, but not forgivable, that business reporters at Old Media newspapers might think that the economy is in bad shape. They first have to get past how poorly most of their employers are doing. The industry as a whole has not been doing well, and it’s been that way for quite some time.

They post a chart showing the circulation of the top 20 newspapers around the country:


If you take out the Wall Street Journal and USA Today, the decline is noticeably worse.

I think it's extremely interesting to note that the papers that have taken by far the least decline are all either conservative or at least generally objective (Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Post). And, those with the biggest declines are the ultra-liberal ones (San Francisco, Atlanta, LA Times, WashPost, etc.).

Proof that unfettered liberalism is an inherent turn-off to the typical American. Sadly, they seem so intent on denying the truth of their bias that they're likely going to drive their own papers into the ground.

Okay, maybe that isn't sad.
