A recent kerfuffle in the State Department diplomacy corps has people talking. Basically, due to a shortfall in Iraq positions, the State Department is going to have to order large numbers of diplomats to foreign posts for the first time since the late 1960's.
These diplomats are whining about a greater risk of danger by being in Iraq. While that's true, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it's their job to go where they're sent! If they didn't want to be sent to potentially dangerous foreign countries, why did they take the job in the first place?
What a bunch of idiots. Here's my thought: suck it up and do your job; you knew this was a possibility when you signed up. The better and faster you get things done, the sooner you come home.
There's my two cents.
