Senate Waffles On Border Enforcement

I received an e-mail last night from NumbersUSA reporting that the House-Senate conference committee removed the $3 billion previously allocated to funding border security. I'm sure I don't need to remind you that the vast majority of the American people want to see the borders locked down, so there is no reason this provision should have been removed...other than pandering to illegal aliens.

Call your Senators and Reps and tell them that you hope they will support the effort to recommit the bill to the conference committee to restore the funding before sending the bill to President Bush.

We have spoken. It's time they start listening.

There's my two cents.
