Just a couple quick headlines:
Oil prices drop about $4 after storm threat eases
House Republicans go back on the floor Monday to talk gas prices
GOP: Lift drilling ban or risk shutdown
So, if prices are dropping simply because a storm misses, how do you think they'd be affected by actual increased production? If this continues (mainly, if the House GOP continues playing hardball), you can continue to expect prices to continue dropping. How low they go will depend largely on how much the American people will allow the Democrats to get away with.
See? These things make a difference...
There's my two cents.
