The Olympics

I have mixed feelings about this year's summer Olympics.  We all knew about China's horrendous record of human rights abuses and Communist policies, but more recent developments of other factors like the health risks to our athletes (from smog and pollution), reports of spying in hotels, and Internet censorship only add to the thought that perhaps we should have sat this one outBut, that was not the decision made by our nation's leaders.  As such, I will tune in regularly to check out how our American men and women (and children!) fare, and root them on to victory.  I hope you do the same.

Technically, I believe the festivities have already begun, but the broadcast begins tonight at 6:30 Central time on NBC.

Go USA!!!
