Syria Taking More Active Role In Iraq (Against U.S.)

The New York Times reports that Syria is encouraging the enemies of the U.S. in Iraq. Thinking that America's strength in Iraq is waning (which is strange, given how things are going quite well for our troops), Syria is building ties to Sunni Arab insurgent groups and former leaders of Saddam Hussein's government.

Things appear to be leading up to a war between Iran/Syria/Russia and Israel/the U.S. If you haven't read Epicenter by Joel C. Rosenberg, it might be a good time to check it out.

There's my two cents.
